Pokémon Mega Inferno X from the Japanese MEGA series
Pokémon Mega Inferno X in Japanese is an expansion from the MEGA series and bears the set identifier M2. The set was released in Japan on September 26, 2025, and continues the return of Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex. A Booster contains five randomly assorted cards. Especially for fans of Japanese Pokémon cards, Mega Inferno X combines a distinctive set theme with popular Pokémon and modern gameplay mechanics.
Mega Charizard X-ex at the heart of Inferno X
The central Pokémon of the expansion is Mega Charizard X-ex. The black Mega Evolution with its distinctive blue flames defines the design of Mega Inferno X and is one of the set’s most striking motifs. Its Inferno X attack uses Fire Energy to build up high damage. This makes the Japanese version of Pokémon Mega Inferno X particularly interesting for Charizard fans and Collectors of modern Mega Pokémon.

In addition to Mega Charizard X-ex, the expansion contains other Mega Evolution Pokémon-ex such as Mega Sharpedo-ex and Mega Heracross-ex. It also includes Pokémon-ex such as Mismagius-ex and Oricorio-ex, which bring different strategies and motifs to the set. Mega Inferno X therefore offers much more than just Charizard and is also suitable for Collectors who want to build as diverse an M2 collection as possible.
Mega Inferno X Booster Display in Japanese
The Pokémon Mega Inferno X 30-Booster Display – JPN contains 30 Japanese Booster packs with five cards each. This allows you to open a total of 150 randomly assorted cards from the expansion. The Booster Display is suitable for larger openings, building your own set collection, or keeping unopened as part of a Japanese Sealed collection.
Display without Wrap for Planned Booster Openings
With the Pokémon Mega Inferno X Booster Display without Wrap – JPN, another variant with 30 original Sealed Booster packs is available. Unlike the regular version, the outer display box does not have additional wrapping. The product is therefore particularly suitable for buyers who intend to open the included Booster packs anyway and place less value on a fully wrapped display box.
Mega Inferno X Case for Especially Large Openings
The Pokémon Mega Inferno X Sealed Case – JPN is aimed at Collectors and fans who want to discover the set on a particularly large scale. A Sealed Case contains twelve Displays with 30 Boosters each, for a total of 360 Booster packs. In addition to extensive opening projects, the original Sealed Case is also suitable for Collectors who want to add larger Japanese Sealed products to their collection.
Japanese Mega-Entwicklung for Charizard Fans
Pokémon Mega Inferno X in Japanese combines the popular Mega-Entwicklung with a strong focus on Mega Charizard X-ex. The set is complemented by various Pokémon-ex, Trainer cards, and special illustrations. This makes the expansion appealing both to fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and to Collectors specifically looking for Japanese cards, Mega Pokémon, or new Charizard designs.
Open Mega Inferno X or Collect It Sealed?
Whether you open Mega Inferno X right away or keep it unopened depends on your collecting goals. A complete Display offers numerous Booster packs for one cohesive opening, while a Sealed Case is significantly larger and is more suitable for extensive projects. Sealed Collectors, on the other hand, can pay attention to the Condition of the packaging and choose between regularly wrapped Displays, variants without wrapping, and complete Sealed Cases. Specific cards are not guaranteed due to the random Booster contents.
