40k Drukhari: Scourges

If you want to add a mobile elite unit to your Drukhari army, the Scourges are an excellent choice. The set belongs to Warhammer 40.000 and brings exactly the kind of dynamism that makes many Drukhari models so appealing. For Players who want to make their army more mobile, and for Collectors who like the faction’s dark style, this is a strong kit with plenty of character. The Scourges are a great fit for projects that focus not just on numbers, but also on speed and looks.

Drukhari Scourges are especially worthwhile if you’re not simply looking for more infantry, but for a unit with clear mobility. This is particularly appealing in a faction like Drukhari, where speed and pressure often play an important role. Scourges are therefore a sensible next step for buyers who want to add more variety to their army. Even if you’re building your Collection gradually, they immediately bring a different feel from classic ground troops.

For Drukhari collectors, this set is appealing because it portrays the faction in a very characteristic way. The Scourges look dynamic and threatening at the same time, ensuring that a Collection doesn’t feel static or too uniform. Those who collect Warhammer 40.000 by faction often pay special attention to units like these, which broaden and refine the overall look. This makes Scourges a great addition to both a display cabinet and a hobby table.

In the game, Scourges are especially appealing if you want to add a flexible unit to your Drukhari army. They bring mobility to the game and fit well into lists built around fast positioning. This appeals to many Warhammer players because units like these make the game feel much more dynamic. If you play Drukhari not just for their looks but also for their speed, this set is a very logical choice.

The different weapon options make Scourges interesting, because you can build the unit differently depending on your project and army concept. For hobbyists, this means more freedom when assembling the models, and for Players, a unit that can be deliberately customized. This is a real advantage, especially for a faction like the Drukhari, where versatility can be important. This makes the set exciting not only visually, but also during assembly.

The included 32 mm round bases give you the right foundation for your models right away. This is convenient because you don’t have to complete your project with additional Accessories. Anyone who regularly builds Warhammer models appreciates these small but important details. They make it easier to get started and ensure the unit can be neatly integrated into your army.

If you're torn between Scourges and another ground unit, it comes down to your army's goals. More infantry gives you breadth, while Scourges bring speed and a different kind of presence. For many Drukhari lists, that's the more exciting option, as it makes the army feel more mobile and versatile. If you're deliberately building up your force rather than just filling it out, you'll usually be happier with this unit.

The set is especially interesting for buyers who want to actively build their Drukhari army. Building and painting them right away is therefore the obvious choice for most people. If you keep Warhammer 40.000 as a Collection and deliberately want to set certain models aside, you can of course also keep the box unopened. The key is whether you want to start a mobile elite project right now or simply secure another faction model.
