40k Space Marines: Vanguard Veteran Squad

If you want to give your Space Marines army more mobility and melee pressure, the Vanguard Veteran Squad is a great fit. The multipart plastic kit includes five veterans with Jump Packs and various equipment options, so you can build a dynamic elite unit for Warhammer 40.000. Players who want to play their army more flexibly and aggressively will find a set with plenty of character here.

This set is especially interesting if you want to field Space Marines not just as a static line army, but with fast strike units. The Vanguard Veteran Squad gives you exactly that mobility, making it a great addition to more classic squads. Compared with purely defensive units, the kit feels much more dynamic and is a good fit for buyers looking to add speed and melee options to their army. That also makes it exciting for dynamic game plans.

For Collectors, the Vanguard Veteran Squad is especially appealing for its visual presence. Jump packs, veteran armor, and the iconic Space Marine aesthetic make the unit stand out immediately and fit well into a themed Collection. If you choose Warhammer 40k models not just for their function but also for their presence, this set has a character all its own. As part of a Space Marines Collection, the unit looks much more distinctive than many standard models.

When playing, the Vanguard Veteran Squad is especially useful for its mobility. A mobile elite unit can be very valuable in Warhammer 40.000 when you want to put pressure on enemy positions or respond flexibly to situations. This makes the set appealing to Players who actively lead their Space Marines rather than just building a static force. The included weapon and equipment options also let you tailor the unit to your playstyle.

Many buyers looking at Space Marines start by searching for solid basic troops. The Vanguard Veteran Squad is more suited to the point when your army is already established and you want to add more dynamism to it. That’s exactly what makes this set such a useful addition, since it fills a different role from a standard core squad. If you enjoy playing Warhammer 40.000 actively and aggressively, this set adds real value to your project.

The five multi-part miniatures with jump packs are a great choice if you enjoy working on models with a more individual look. Combined with the bases and equipment options, they make for a hobby project that’s fun to build and paint. For many buyers, this blend of flexibility and a clear faction identity is just right. That makes the Vanguard Veteran Squad a kit that sounds exciting not just on paper, but also delivers in practice.

Compared to a standard squad, the Vanguard Veteran Squad offers significantly greater mobility and a clearer elite role. So if you simply want to fill out your model count, a regular squad is often enough. But if you're looking for a unit that truly has a distinct role in your Space Marines army, this set is the stronger choice. This is especially helpful for players who want to build their list more deliberately and give every unit a specific task.

The Vanguard Veteran Squad is a great choice for Warhammer 40.000 Players looking to add speed and close-combat strength to their Space Marines. Collectors who favor striking elite units will also find a highly distinctive set with lots of character. If you enjoy conversions, painting, and dynamic models, you’ll probably get more out of this kit than a static unit. It’s an especially compelling pick for creative hobbyists.
