Pokémon - Scarlet & Violet: Journey Together Enhanced Booster Box - English

Yes, there are differences. English Pokémon sets are produced in much larger print runs and distributed worldwide. As a result, they are usually available for longer and are somewhat cheaper in Price.
German sets, on the other hand, are released in smaller quantities and are generally available only in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This smaller print run often means that popular products—such as Displays or Elite Trainer boxes—sell out faster and may become more expensive on the secondary market.

Yes, you can use both German and English Pokémon cards at official tournaments in Germany. Both language versions are legal for play in Europe, as long as they come from an officially released set by Pokémon Company International.
Only Japanese cards are generally not allowed in international tournaments unless you use them together with an official translation. However, you can use cards in any language without any issues for casual play, collecting, or trading.

Yes, minor differences are possible. English cards are produced by several printers around the world (e.g., in the USA or Belgium), while German cards are usually printed only in Europe. This can result in slight variations in gloss, card thickness, or cut. These differences are purely cosmetic and do not affect playability or value. All cards come from the official Pokémon Company International and are authentic.

Each card has a set symbol and collector number (e.g., “045/196”) in the bottom left. The symbol identifies the set, and the number shows the card’s position within the edition. You’ll also find the language version on the back (e.g., “© Pokémon / Nintendo / Creatures / GAME FREAK” in English or German). If you’re unsure, you can find the corresponding set and all relevant details for each product on cardcosmos.de.
